ITAdapted – Using technology to support people with disabilities

ITAdapted, run by Jo Greenwell, provides advice, assessment, consultancy and training for children and adults with disabilities who want to get the best out of what technology can offer them in education, at home and at work. She has worked with clients with different disabilities including people with:

  • Visual impairments
  • Hearing impairments
  • Cognitive impairments
  • Dyslexia
  • Physical disabilities
  • Mental health issues
  • Learning disabilities
  • Speech and communication impairments

Currently Jo assesses Higher Education students for disabled student’s allowance (DSA), provides pupil assessments and training for staff in schools, care workers and families. Jo holds an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
