ITAdapted, run by Jo Greenwell, provides advice, assessment, consultancy and training for children and adults with disabilities who want to get the best out of what technology can offer them in education, at home and at work. She has worked with clients with different disabilities including people with:

• Visual impairments
• Hearing impairments
• Cognitive impairments
• Dyslexia

• Physical disabilities
• Mental health issues
• Learning disabilities
• Speech and communication impairments

Currently Jo assesses Higher Education students for disabled student’s allowance (DSA), provides pupil assessments and training for staff in schools, care workers and families. Jo holds an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Jo’s help and advice were invaluable. Within a very short space of time she had identified the issues that were causing me problems and had a number of solutions to help me. Jo is extremely knowledgeable and has an excellent manner and explains things clearly and patiently. Jo also knew exactly how to source the equipment I needed and made sure that I got the best deal possible. Her supportive and encouraging manner made me feel that I had made a positive step forward and I would recommend her whole heartedly.
